Veggiehash has no members – every Veggiehash run is a loose  gathering  and a melting pot for like-minded hashers from diverse  chapters across Malaysia. Veggiehash is run by four of the six original  founders and everyone pays only RM10.00 for the run which includes  dinner. All are welcome. Dogs and children (provided they are  accompanied by adult hashers) are okay depending on the run location. If  in doubt, please check with Tarzan on 012 222 2209.

As usual, please bring a change of clothes, bathing water if you  want to bathe and chairs or stools if you don’t want to stand. If it’s  the rainy season, don’t forget your hash raincoat or umbrella. Feel free  to pass on this info to anyone who may be interested in hashing. Over 60 hashers turned up on this weather-threatening day! The run was started off at 5.35pm and it started along Jalan 5/4 towards the hanging bridge. Just ten minutes into the run, the rains came barging down. Yes, it was a mini typhoon! Naturally half the runners dropped out and the many of the other half took their own routes or short cuts. Only about a dozen hashers completed the hare’s full trail. The first runner on paper came out at 7.10pm. Dinner and drinks were served at Tarzan’s new house along Jalan 5/4. A delectable menu was catered on site and when the rains finally abated at 8pm, the party went on full swing. A staggering 12 crates of beer and 3 litres of whiskey were consumed more than twice the normal! Thank you to all the hashers and GMs who came for the party inspite of the unforgiving weather. On on!

On a disturbing note, there are ample rumours and allegations flying around that one of the contestants played dirty and/or cheated by using multiple proxies and of some non-existent chapters and inspite of that, they were trumped into a convincing loss. We say boo to cheaters and liars – avoid them like the plague.

One wonders about this new trend where losers still have their ‘alternate’ function as a pre lube or post lube. This is a disturbing trend as it signifies a sore loser – if I can’t do PanAsia, I will do my own version! One wonder what kind of party such losers will give you. Perhaps in future, before you sign up and pay ask them if the entry fee is refundable should they lose the bid.

From 35 hashers who turned up this gloomy Sunday afternoon, thank you TNT for taking the trouble to set an ‘outstation’ run! We all know you put in a lot of effort setting the trail. This run was otherwise known as the ‘hangover run’ after a weekend of hasing with Klang Hash who were celebrating their thirtieth anniversary right on top of the hill. Our run was in Gohtong Jaya. The run was 75 minutes for the first runner and the last hasher was back at 7.20pm. A run, though slippery at times that is the desired standard of future Veggie runs. A couple from Petaling Hash were finding it a little on the tough side! Dinner was arranged by TNT at a nearby restaurant and the food was hot and tasty – 5 whole courses of it. Thank you again TNT for setting a superb run and food! This will definitely encourage us to take future run farther still..On On!

Our aim is to cater the crowd into the spirit of” Back To Hashing”. We are not going to follow people with high registeration fees for the event because we are supported by the GLC of Johor State – Iskandar Malaysia hence we will give back the money to the participants in the event our bid fails. We would like to show the Asian with the latest of the state has got. We have the best countryside to do our hash, long, short and also the ballbreaker runs.

We are truly Malaysian and we support our Malaysians to do this run which Johor Malaysia has never done any major event so far. Last but not least, we always think positive if we win but if we loose of the bidding we would return all monies collected. We don’t want to see Pan Asia being divided into two or more events.

Program

6th Oct 2011 (Thursday) Arrive at Indira Gandhi Airport-Delhi, transfer to Hotel Le Season, Mahipalpur by bus. Half day sightseeing. Return to hotel after lunch. Coach leaves for the run site (Farm House – close to the hotel). Joint Run with Capital Hash, Dinner and party (DJ) at the farm house.

7th Oct 2011 (Friday): Check out of hotel at 6 am. Hashers will be transferred by coach to Mussoorie

(Drive of approx 7 to 8hrs) At 9am we halt for breakfast at Hotel Cheetal Grand. At Mussoorie, check in-Lunch –Run. Dinner & Party at the hotel

8th Oct 2011 (Saturday): After breakfast, the coach will take hashers sightseeing & then to Kanatal Resort (24 Kms from Mussoorie), Kanatal provides a breath-taking view of the valleys and the Himalayan peaks. Lunch-BBQ-Run at a Resort. Dinner & Party –back at the Hotel (Mussoorie).

9th Oct 2011 (Sunday): Check out after lunch. Hashers will be transfer by coach to Delhi. Reaches approx 10 to 11pm.
